My name is Marcia Rubin, and I am from Chagrin Falls, Ohio. I am fishing Pro on the Women’s Bassmaster Tour, and also participate in many other local/regional tournaments. Some of the highlights from last year, my Rookie year as a Pro were: 1) Finishing in the top 20 for “Angler of the Year” with the WBT 2) Winning a local Championship.
Working with and mentoring children is something that brings me an incredible amount of joy, and comes very naturally as I am a mother of two myself. I volunteer my time as a Boat Captain for a local youth fishing club, make special guest appearances at youth events, and have emceed a couple of youth tournament weigh-in’s. Team Bass USA brings “Tournament Fishing” and “Children” together in a whole new way, as a portion of all entry fees are donated directly to the local Children’s Hospital wherever the tournaments are held.
Joe Chillari, the National Tournament Director, and Founder of Team Bass USA is a man on a mission, and that is to help those in need. For that reason, I completely stand behind Joe and this Tournament Trail, and really look forward to participating in many Team Bass USA events. Besides, where else can you pay an entry fee knowing that a certain percent is being donated directly to the local children’s hospital? Joe’s concept of “Fishing & Giving” is catching on fast, as the growing number of Team Bass USA tournaments show. I’m just so proud and honored to be part of Joe Chillari’s “Fishing Family”.
